Jeffrey has called Los Angeles home since only May of 2009, but has found challenging and rewarding work and a passionate, thriving, collaborative family in the arts.
Jeff Olson grew up 40 miles west of Chicago in St. Charles, IL with cornfilelds in his backyard but ever since getting onstage at the age of 5 at the "Spring Sing" for a solo in his wide-lapelled yellow n chartreuse print shirt, white pants and huge buckled brown belt and seeing the crowd smile - he was hooked! except for that teenage hiccup of shyness where he threw himself into the orchestra pit.

Even throughout medical school and then residency at University of Chicago Hospitals in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care , Jeff couldn't stay away from performing and music.  He caught the acting bug whole-heartedly after taking classes to help pass an oral exam for his specialty, and had worked with such talent agencies as Arlene Wilson which merged with Ford Models, Ambassador Talent, Encore, and Stewart Talent in Chicago.

Flash forward to Los Angeles- now he has been onstage in a play by a Tony Award winning playwright, participated in a production of the most iconic Television program of all time - "I Love Lucy", and also in yet another very successful - twice extended production called DADDY in addition to finding a home in film - multiple shorts, a feature film, and two webseries.

Just enjoying the journey... doing my best.. and feeling constantly humbled and blessed by the surrounding talent and nurturing souls - REALLY!! in Los Angeles!

Below please find some great press about me.

"The ensemble is fearless, invested in the stakes.  Jeff Olson sensitively trumps stereotypes as the porn star. ....this elegant, engrossing roundelay."                                    - The LA Times

"Jeff Olson...in a very touching performance.  Olson best conveys that deep sense of loneliness that all gays feel, even though they refuse to admit it.  It's demeaning, terrifying and scintillating all in the same breath."                                                                                                                                                         - BroadwayWorld.com

"...consummately acted production...the contributions of Olson, Galuszka, and Dare are particularly poignant.  Kudos to Remsberg and company for pulling off such an eloquent US premiere of this outstanding new play, among the most rewarding gay-themed works within memory."                                                                                                                                                   - Backstage.com

"Wow! - all the performances are terrific! ...left...with unexpected tears in our eyes and more than a bit of hope in our heart.  Blond bombshell Olson so looks the part...that the acting chops (and honest-to-goodness innocence) he brings to the role come as a delightful surprise."                                                                                                                                                                                     - StageSceneLA
